Dravus Chaise Christian Dupree, 20 of Rome, was arrested this week after reports said hijacked a car from a woman on Lyons Drive.

Reports said that Dupree, while wearing a facial mask, got into a woman’s 2013 BMW 328I, pointed a gun at her and then ordered her to get out.  When officers located Dupree, he fled away at speeds of over 100ph while striking road signs and placing the public at risk.

Dupree is charged with aggravated assault, pointing a gun at another, possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime, interference with government property, concealing his identity with a mask, reckless driving, attempting to elude police, hijacking a car, robbery, aggravated stalking, driving on the wrong side of the roadway, improper lane change, failure to maintain lane, too fast for conditions and duty upon striking a fixture.
