BenjamynWentworth Johnson, 45 of Lindale, was arrested this week after reports said he used abusive and opprobrious words towards a 28 year-old woman.
Police added that when they arrived on the scene Johnson resisted the officer’s attempts to detain him when he kept pulling away.
The incident occurred on Walnut Avenue.
Johnson is charged with disorderly conduct and obstruction.
