Julie Evelyn Bodine, 28 of Rome, was arrested this week after a report said she stole a 2005 Chrysler 300 from the Ashwood Inn and Suites on Shorter Avenue.
The victim stated that their wallet, which contained cash, was also in the car at the time of the theft.
The car theft occurred back on July 18th.
Officers located Bodine this week at a home on Maple Road. It was there, reports stated Bodine gave officers a fake name in an attempt to avoid capture for the theft.
Bodine is charged with theft by taking a motor vehicle, theft by taking articles from a vehicle and giving false information to police.
