Kataja Donyet Mallett, 26 of Rome, was arrested this week after reports said she threatened a Floyd County Sheriff’s deputy who was out in public.
Authorities said that Mallet told the victim to “get out of your car bit** and I will beat your fu***** ass”. Police added that Mellet had prior knowledge of the victim working as a deputy.
When officers were dispatched and arrived on scene Mallet resisted arrest.
Mallett is charged with simple assault on a law enforcement officer, disorderly conduct and obstruction.
