Victoria Marie Rivera, 38 of Rome, was arrested this week after reports said she robbed the Dollar General on North Board Street while brandishing a gun.
Police said that Rivera walked into the store, pulled out a gun and demanded money from the clerk.
Authorities went on to say that Rivera fled the store on foot after stealing $1,501.44.
The incident occurred back on August 3rd. She was captured this week near the intersection of Broad Street and East 8th Avenue.
Rivera is charged with armed robbery, possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime and aggravated assault.
