Jesmon Jermain Antown Smith, 33 of Rome, was arrested this week after reports said he took control of his daughter’s tablet and refused to give it back.
Police said that the victim needed her tablet to complete her school work.
Police added that Smith ran from police when they arrived on scene.
Smith is charged with obstruction and criminal trespass.
