Shirley Jeanette Smith, 45 of Rome, and Michael Keith Wilkins, 57 of Aragon, were arrested on felony drug charges following a traffic stop on Dean Avenue.
Reports said that Wilkins was stopped for not having a registered vehicle when officers also discovered he was driving on a suspended license.
A search of the vehicle then led police to find methamphetamine and drug-related objects.
Smith is charged with possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug related objects.
Wilkins is charged with possession of meth, possession of drug related objects, driving on a suspended license, concealing the identity of a vehicle and probation violation.
