Mason Lee Bramlett, 22 of Rome, was arrested this week after reports said he imprisoned a 19-year-old woman and her child before hitting her with a cell phone.
Reports stated that Bramlet refused to allow the woman to leave a vehicle as he pounded on the hood while screaming at her. The victim’s 1 year-old son was also in the car at the time.
Police went on to add that Bramlett proceeded to grab the victim’s cellphone and hit her in the chest with it. The act resulted in visible marks being left.
Bramlett is charged with battery, false imprisonment and cruelty to children in the 3rd degree.
