Elijah Jon Frost, 21 of Rome, was arrested this week after reports said he prevented his mother from calling 911 for help.
Police said that Frost ripped a cellphone from the victim’s hand while she was attempting to call for help.
Frost is charged with obstruction of a person making a 911 call.
