American Eagle Employee Jailed for Scamming Employer out of Thousands of Dollars

Tasia Anne Nance, 39 of Rome, was arrested this week after reports said she attempted to scam her employer, American Eagle, out of money by creating false return transactions.

The report said that between November 21, 2022 and August 5, 2023 Nance created multiple false return transactions before pocketing the money for herself.

Police stated that Nance stole $2,732.34 from the store.

Nance is charged with felony theft by conversion.
