According to the Georgia State Patrol, a Floyd County Police Department vehicle was involved in a three-vehicle wreck in Adairsville on Thursday.
Reports said that the patrol vehicle was northbound on Highway 41 when they attempted a left turn onto Highway 140. However, reports added that the patrol vehicle failed to yield to the right away causing it to be struck by a southbound F250.
The F250 then struck a second vehicle before coming to rest.
The drivers of the police vehicle and the F150 sustained minor injuries.
