Xavier Cortez Cheeks, 35 of Rome, was arrested at the Taco Bell on Turner McCall Blvd after reports said he was found illegally in possession of a firearm.
Police said that Cheeks, a convicted felon, is not allowed to possess a gun.
Cheeks is charged with possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
