Barry Donald Mount, 43 of Adairsville, was arrested in Rome after reports said he stole and sold a Branson tractor and trailer with attachments in Floyd County.
Authorities listed the value of the properties at $30,000.
Police stated that Mount was given permission to take the equipment but was not given permission to sell it. They went on to say that Mount sold the equipment to an individual in Calhoun last July.
Mount is charged with felony theft by taking.
