Maurin Daniel Sims, 24 of Rome, was arrested on drug charges following a traffic stop near the intersection of Calhoun Road and E Hermitage Road.
Police said that after stopping Sims for driving on a suspended license a search led them to find methamphetamine and marijuana.
Sims is charged with possession of methamphetamine, possession of marijuana and driving on a suspended license.
