Avani Vinod Patel, 27 of Rome, was arrested at the West Rome Walmart for skip-scanning grocery items.
Reports said that Patel failed to pay for 20.48 worth of groceries in the checkout line.
Reports did not list the items that were taken.
Patel is charged with theft by shoplifting.
