Karen Ann Chatman, 36 of Rome, was arrested in drug charges following a traffic stop near the intersection of Gledale and Benton Roads.
Police said that after stopping Chatman for not wearing a seat belt they discovered that she had a warrant for failure to appear. They also found that she had been driving on a suspended license.
While talking Chatman into custody, officers added that they found her in possession of suspected Fentanyl.
Chatman is charged with possession of fentanyl, driving without a seatbelt, driving on a suspended license, and two counts of probation violation.
