Rome Man Found with Variety of Drugs During Search

Kenneth Lamar Cheeks Jr, 38 of Rome, was arrested this week after reports said he was found with a variety of drugs during a search at an apartment on East 15^th.

Police said they found Oxycodone, THC wax, Gabapentin, marijuana, and a digital scale.

Cheeks is charged with two counts possession of a Schedule II controlled substance, possession of a Schedule I controlled substance, possession of drug-related objects, possession of a dangerous drug and possession of marijuana.
