A two-vehicle wreck on Friday on Jake Whorton Road in Silver Creek resulted in one person being killed.
Reports said a black F150 was traveling on Jake Whorton Road, driven by a male who was under the age of 18, when he ran a stop sign and hit a Nissan 350Z that was traveling on Burkhalter Road.
According to Floyd County Deputy Corner Jordan Pierson, killed in the wreck was John Kenneth Henderson, 58 of Silver Creek.
The driver of the F150 was taken to a local hospital for treatment.
Investigators said that they are still looking into the accident with possible charges pending.
