Melissa Ann Jordan, 30 of Rome, was arrested this week after reports said she was found with four dogs that were in deplorable condition.
Each of the animals were found with severe skin issues, parasites and overgrown nails.
Reports added that they were also found to be a 2 out of 9 on the Purina body scale due to their bones and vertebrae being easily seen.
Jordan is charged with four counts aggravated cruelty to animals.
