Lindale Woman Jailed for Stealing Cash from Berry Food Mart

Melissa Ann Battles, 52 of Lindale, was arrested this week after reports said she stole $1,310 from the Berry Food Mart.

Reports stated that Battle stole the money from the cash register back on June 14^th.

She is also accuesed of lying to police about her identity while being questioned at Walmart this week.

Battles is charged with theft by taking and giving false information to police.
