Jimmy Eugene Bradley Jr, 40 of Calhoun, was arrested after being paid for work he never performed.

Reports said that Bradley priced a job out at a home on Bridgeview Drive in Rome for $6,000.  He then requested half the money upfront. Police added that Bradley proceeded to buy and drop off three buckets and paint but then never returned to do the job.

The incident occurred back on June 1st of 2022.

Bradley is charged with felony theft by deception.
