Alabama Man Jailed for Stealing Cellphone from Rome Walmart

Lawson Heath Smith, 20 of Valley Head, AL, was arrested in Rome after reports said he took an iPhone 14 Pro Max that did not belong to him from the East Rome Walmart.

Reports said that the theft occurred  back on July 12^th.

The phone is valued at $1,200.

Smith is charged with theft of mislaid property.
