Deborah Gay Walk, 64 of Rome, was arrested this week after police said she stole medication and illegally wrote checks from an elderly man.
Police said that in January of this year, Walk allegedly took medication from the man’s porch and then forged and deposited a check on the victim’s account for $676.
Walk is charged with 4th degree forgery and exploitation and intimidation of the elderly.
