Demarcus Cantrell Mitchell, 33 of Rome, was arrested on Spring Creek Street after police said he was found distributing cocaine.
Police said that the arrest came when a search warrant led them to find a large amount of cocaine.
Mitchell is charged with possession of cocaine, possession of cocaine with intent to distribute, possession of drug related objects and probation violation.
