Rory Demaracus Morgan, 53 of Cave Spring, was arrested this week after reports said he injured a child when he kicked a door off its hinges causing it to hit them.
Reports added that Morgan then forced the child back into the bedroom before striking his wife who was filming the incident.
A second minor child witnessed the incident.
Morgan is charged with simple battery, 1st degree criminal damage to property and two counts cruelty to children in the third degree.
