Atlanta Man Jailed for Check Forgery in Rome

Gerald Damone Walker, 36 of Atlanta, was arrested this week after reports said he forged a check belonging to another person for $985.02.

Reports stated that Walker signed the victim’s name and memo stating that the check was for painting services.

Authorities said that the victim had mailed the check but was intercepted by Walker before being forged.  

Walker is charged with identity fraud, 4^th degree forgery and identity theft fraud.
