Daniel Vonne Burge, 33 of Rome, was arrested this week after reports said he was found with numerous drugs during a traffic stop near the intersection of South Broad and McGhee Street.

Police said that they stopped Burge after they saw him failing to maintain his lane.

Officers went on to say that during the stop they found Burge in possession of two glass smoking devices containing methamphetamine, plastic baggies, cocaine, and multiple Alprazolam pills that were not in their original container.

Burge is charged with possession of cocaine, possession of cocaine with intent to distribute, possession of schedule IV controlled substance, possession of a schedule IV controlled substance with intent to distribute, drugs not in original container, failure to maintain lane, and probation violation.
