Roy Franks Jr, 48 of Rome, was arrested this week after reports said he sold another man’s vehicle without their approval.
Police said that Franks took the victim’s 2004 Dodge Durango and sold it to Dempsey’s Auto Savage for $200.
The theft occurred back on June 15 from a location on Maple Road.
Franks is charged with theft by conversion.
