Meth, Marijuana, Hydrocone Found During Traffic Stop, 2 Arrest Made

Rome Police arrested two men on drug charges, Gordon Lee Cook, 55 of Lyerly, and George Darron Middleton, 56 of Orchard, KY,  following a traffic stop near the intersection of Martha Berry Blvd and John Davenport Drive

Police said that they initiated the stop due to a window tint violation and an in operable tag light.

During they stop they found Cook to be in possession of a large amount (27 grams) of meth.

Middleton was also found in possession of hydrocodone and marijuana.

Cook is charged with possession of methamphetamine, possession of meth with intent to distribute, no tag light and a window tint violation.

Middleton is charged with possession of a schedule II controlled substance and possession of marijuana.
