Adam Lamar Ely, 40 of Calhoun, was arrested in Rome after police said they found him trespassing onto property at Old Summerville Road.
Reports said that Ely was seen on camera entering the property and under a victim’s car attempting to commit a theft.
Ely is charged with criminal trespass, criminal attempt to commit a felony and probation violation.
