Tamara Sabrina Mitchell, 34 of Newnan, was arrested this week after a report said she conspired with others to sneak contraband into the Floyd County Prison.

Reports said that Mitchell along with Eldrin Hand and Paul Mischael Lopez attempted to smuggle marijuana inside the prison back on May 7th.

Police stated that during a visit at the prison, Mitchell was given directions on where to place two bags of marijuana.

On May 19th, officers found the drugs hidden underneath a rock at the location given.  The bag contained two packages of marijuana that weighed 30.14 grams.

Mitchell is charged with possession of marijuana, using a communication device involving a felony, items prohibited by an inmate and conspiracy to commit a felony.
