A two-vehicle crash on US 411 near mile marker 246 just north of Centre on Friday, May 19, has claimed the lives of a La Quinta, Ga., woman and a Rockmart, Ga., juvenile.

Teri J. Brann, 72, was critically injured when a 2022 Jeep Cherokee she was a passenger in collided head-on with the 2009 Toyota Corolla driven by Joshua S. Williams Jr., 19, of Anniston.

The 12-year-old juvenile, who was a passenger in the Corolla, was also killed in the collision.

Brann was transported to Atrium Health Floyd Medical Center where she succumbed to injuries.

The 12-year-old was also transported to Rome where they also succumbed to injuries.

The driver of the Jeep Cherokee Kelvin H. Mullins, 49, of Cummings, Ga., and Joshua S. Williams were also injured and transported to Atrium
Health Floyd Medical Center in Rome, Ga. Erin W. Mullins, 50, of Cummings, Ga., and an 18-year-old juvenile, also of Cummings, Ga., were also passengers in the Jeep Cherokee and was transported for treatment.

The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency’s (ALEA) Highway Patrol Division continues to investigate.
