Teresa Ann Fennell, 53 of Rome, was arrested this week after reports said she beat a 49 year-old woman in the head during an altercation on South Broad Street.
Reports said that Fennell used her hands to strike the woman, which resulted in minor injuries.
Fennell is charged with battery and probation violation.
