Sadie J Watson, 35 of Rome, was arrested this week after reports said she physically attacked her elderly roommate.
Reports said that Watson scratched a 63 year-old woman on the arm, which resulted in substantial tearing of her skin.
The incident occurred at their home on 14th Street.
Watson is charged with battery.
