Steven Cody Hughes, of Rome, was arrested this week after reports said he kidnapped a 42 year-old woman from her home on Calhoun Road.
Reports said that Hughes broke through a glass door of the home to gain entry before forcing the woman to leave the home with him.
Police said that the victim suffered visible injuries to her arm from the attack. Hughes is charged with kidnapping, battery
