Neyver Perez, 29 of Rome, was arrested this week after reports said he imprisoned a woman in a home on Hearthwood Drive.
Reports said that Perez refused to allow the woman to leave the home while preventing her from calling 911 to get help.
Perez is charged with false imprisonment and obstruction of a person making a 911 call.
