Bryan Oneal Chastain, 48 of Rome, was arrested this week after reports said he illegally dumped trash and clothing in a creek beside a home on Alabama Highway.
Chastain proceeded to break the windshield of a woman at the property.
Officers added that Chastain had previously been ordered to say away from the 48 year-old woman.
Police went on to say that when they arrived at the home they saw Chastain running across the road in an effort to avoid arrest.
Chastain is charged with unlawful dumping, aggravated stalking, obstruction and criminal trespass.
