David Ray Smith Sr, 46 of Rome, was arrested this week after police said he stole a cooler from the carport of a home on Runway Drive.
Police said that video surveillance cameras were used to help identify the suspect.
Smith is charged with theft by taking, criminal trespass, and two counts of probation violation
