Jamie Michael Cooper, 29 of Rome, was arrested this week after reports said he was found in possession of drugs and a gun during a search of a home on Moran Lake Road.
Officers said that Cooper, a convicted felon, was found with the gun and pills with an M30 imprint on them in his bedroom.
Cooper is charged with possession of a firearm by a convicted felon and possession of a Schedule II controlled substance.
