Joshua Gilbert Bishop, 36 of Conyers, was arrested in Rome near the RaceTrac convenience store after he was found drunk while yelling vulgar statements loudly.
Officers added that after arriving on the scene, Bishop resisted officers while being placed under arrest.
Bishop is charged with being a public drunk, obstruction of law enforcement and probation violation.
