Deja Latyce Favors, 25 of Griffin, was jailed in Rome after she allegedly failed to return a Kobota excavator and trailer and then sold it to another person.
Reports added that the stolen item, which is valued at $28,000 was found at a used car lot in Tennessee.
Favors is charged with felony theft by taking and theft by conversion.
