Tennessee Man Jailed in Rome for Cashing Forged Checks

Thomas Adam Fife, 47 of Maryville, TN, was arrested in Rome this week after reports said he cashed numerous forged checks at local banks/credit unions around the area.

Reports said that on March 29^th, Fife cashed a forged check at Coosa Valley Credit Union for $1,875.49 and one at River City Bank for $2,325.12.

Fife is charged with two counts third degree forgery.
