Jeremiah James Dean, 31 of Rome, was arrested this week after reports said he led police on a chase.

Reports said that on September 18, 2022, Dean fled from police on a motorcycle down Plainville and Legg Road before getting away.

The on October 31, after being located, Dean again fled from police at a home on Todd Street.

On February 16th of this year, Dean was finally captured while driving a vehicle without insurance.  He was taken into custody on Minshew Road.  Officers added that he was found with drugs while being taken into custody.

Dean is charged with felony obstruction, attempting to elude police, possession of a schedule I controlled substance, three counts operation of a vehicle without a license plate, driving without insurance, reckless driving, driving on the wrong side of the roadway, too fast for conditions, stop sign violation, failure to report an accident, violation of license class and driving without insurance.
