Johnny Brent Law, 38 of Rome, was arrested this week after reports said he was found with a large amount of methamphetamine, a shotgun and digital scales during a search on Morrison Campground Road.
Police added that the meth was packaged for resale purposes.
Law is charged with possession of methamphetamine, possession of meth with intent to distribute, possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime, and possession of drug related objects.
