Reno Cornelius Hoskins III, 32 of Rome, was arrested this week after reports said he was found with drugs and a firearm during a traffic stop due to a tag light being out.
Police said that a search after officers detected a marijuana odor led them to find marijuana, a juice container filled with THC, a digital scale, and a Taurus 9mm handgun.
Hoskins is charged with possession of a schedule I controlled substance, possession of marijuana, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime, possession of drug related objects and driving with no tag light.
