Randall Rayford Davenport Jr, 38 of Rome, was arrested this week after police said they found him in possession of drugs and a gun.
Police said that they took Davenport into custody on Industrial Blvd near Superior Drive after finding methamphetamine, Hydrocodone, marijuana and a Smith and Wesson .38 revolver.
Davenport is charged with possession of methamphetamine, possession of a schedule II controlled substance, possession of marijuana, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, possession of a firearm while committing a felony, contempt of court and probation violation.
