Terrance Lashaun Bryant, 17 of Rome, was arrested this week after reports said he was found breaking into a car at a business on Riverbend Drive.
Reports added that he was found in possession of a gun while being taken into custody.
The firearm, a Ruger.45cal, had also been reported stolen.
Bryant is charged with entering an automobile with intent to commit a theft, possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime, theft by receiving stolen prperty and possession of a firearm by a person under the age of 18 years.
