The Rome Downtown Development Authority said that starting March 1 and running until the end of April there will be no parking limit for the on-street downtown area.

The DDA announced that they are conducting a study on how having no three-hour parking limit affects downtown businesses.

The no parking limit is only suspended for on-street parking and not the parking decks.

DDA director Aundi Lesley said that the move is to look at customer behavior now that they can spend as much time downtown without being rushed.
