Jason Lee Timms, 37 of Cedartown, was arrested in Rome this week after reports said he repeatedly attacked his girlfriend at numerous locations around Rome.

Police said that just after midnight on November 23rd, he knocked the victim to the ground with such force he broke her collarbone.

Several hours later, Timms allegedly placed his hands around a woman’s throat and forced her to the ground, where he proceeded to strangle her.  That incident occurred at a location on Martha Berry Blvd.

Timms is charged with aggravated assault, aggravated battery and obstruction of police.
