A homeless 26-year-old Rome man, Jeramiah Zechriah Flot, was arrested this week after police said he did not get veterinarian care for his dogs while dropping out and leaving two others near the intersection of Wayside and Mango Roads.
Reports said that Flot’s dog suffered from heartworm disease and the mange.
Flot is charged with two counts aggravated cruelty to animals and four counts abandonment of dogs.
